We have been meaning to write for a while now, sorry it's taken me so long to actually do it. Bear has been the absolute best addition to our family, he is everything you could possibly hope for in a Rotty, let alone any breed. He is absolutely beautiful (we get compliments non-stop from everyone who sees him), so sweet with everyone from babies, to adults to other dogs (he even likes our guinea pig although I'm not sure I would leave them in a room alone together :) ). He is all muscle and around 65 pounds now, really laid back most of the time but when he is concerned about something being a threat, he puts himself right between us and the "bad thing" and just watches. I have to say, he is my boy, we have a bond that is awesome, although he loves everyone else too. He is really smart, (and stubborn sometimes), and all puppy and drives our 6 year old Beagle nuts. She truly loves to hate him, and he takes it all in stride. Also interesting about him, is that when he meets new dogs he's always friendly and balanced, but if they are aggressive towards him for whatever reason, he doesn't meet their advances, he just moves out of their reach as if he's like geez--what 's your problem and then he goes on his way. It's awesome. So, I hope I don't sound like a crazy person, but I just wanted to say how pleased we are with with him and great job with the bloodlines you have created. Robin and Bill |
